2. Collection of Selfie (Biometric) Verification Images
To ensure the safety of our customers and verify that no third party is using your account, Dollar Links collects selfie images.
2.1 Purpose of Selfie Collection
- Confirm that the customer is the actual user of the app
- Match your selfie with the ID you provided
- Prevent third-party or impersonation fraud
- Comply with FINTRAC identity verification rules
- Protect your account from unauthorized access

3. E-Transfer Privacy & Verification Rules.
3.1 Existing Customers Only
To protect against third-party misuse, we only accept e-transfers from existing verified customers.New customers must complete verification before using e-transfer.
3.2 Name-Matching Enforcement
The name on the e-transfer sender’s bank account must match the name on the customer’s Dollar Links account. We use this rule to prevent:
- Third-party deposits
- Fraud
- Identity misuse
- Compliance violations
If names do not match, the e-transfer may be
- Declined
- Returned
- Placed under compliance review
3.3 No Third-Party Transfers
We do not accept:
- Payments from friends or relatives
- Payments from shared bank accounts
- Payments sent on behalf of a customer
All transactions must originate from the verified customer.
3.4 E-Transfer Amount Limits ($100–$990)
To maintain compliance and avoid unnecessary reporting triggers, we limit e-transfer amounts to:
- Minimum: $100 CAD
- Maximum: $990 CAD
Transfers outside this range will not be accepted.

- Large Virtual Currency Transaction Reports
We are legally prohibited from notifying customers when such reports are filed.

As required by FINTRAC:
